Party Hard

What a party we had!!!! I can't even begin to explain how crazy the night was. All that matters was Alex had a blast. By the end of the night she was tired of kisses and pictures. What a horrible thing to be tired of.

She began the night greeting all of her guest that arrived. None of us realized how many people would come, but by the end of the night 80 people had come to celebrate Alex's big night. After she was able to open ALL her presents she was off to hit the games. She had been playing a game in which you pull down on the lever and it lands on a ticket amount. Mom walked up and on her first try she hit the grand prize 1000 tickets. I think Alex almost fell out if her wheel chair she was in such a state of shock. She then set her sites on a Hannah Montana clock that was worth 2880 tickets. After we pooled all the tickets together she had enough. Incredible Pizza was a wonderful place for us to have her party. They kept the games on an extra few minutes so that we could play a little longer. Even though they closed at 8, they never once asked us to leave after we kept lingering around or once Alex started smashing peoples faces in the cake. I have no idea how it started but Alex would act as if she was going to give someone a hug but instead she was smashing their face into the cake. About 6 or 7 people had their faces smashed in the cake. The last person to have their face in the cake was me. Jessica decided to get a good laugh out of it an she literally smeared the cake all over me. Alex said, "Great now my cake is ruined." Forget about the fact that she had just smashed about 6 other peoples faces in the cake.

The fun did not stop there. About 25 of us headed to Wal-Mart for a scavenger hunt. We all met in the entry way of Wal-Mart. We got quite a bit of odd looks from people coming in and even security came to check us out. Once each team had their lists we dispersed throughout the store to find all of our items on the list. Some of the items were a 40 DD bra, Preparation H cream, gluten free cereal and size 8 men's shoes. We played two rounds and Alex's team won the second round. Some teams alleged others of cheating but what can you do. We had a great night. It was a great celebration, one that none of us will ever forget.
If you would like a picture from Tuesday night please email either me or Jessica at alrickman@aol.com or crain.jessica@gmail.com. Or if you have pics and you would like to get them to us we would greatly appreciate that as well.
