Sleepy Girl

Alex's days are nights and her nights are days. Unfortunately, Mom's schedule is not the same so sleep is a precious reward these days. It's good for her to sleep so her body can continue to heal, but we would like her to sleep when most Americans do.

They are weaning her off of the ventilator and plan to extubate on Monday. Her vent setting is at an 8 today! Monday will be a very important day so we need your prayer. Although Alex is improving every day, she is still weak and needs all our your prayers. 1 John 5:14 tells us that "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that is we ask anything according to His will, He hears us."

She is regaining some of her strength back. She can hold her head up, push with her legs and pull herself to the side. Coughing still scares her so we have to make sure we are here for her when a cough comes on.

Pretty uneventful, thank the Lord! Dialyse tomorrow, four days until Monday..sigh...Keep the faith and keep those prayer lines full!
